Article 1. Basic Policy
- The App is designed primarily to process audio files on the User's Mac.
- The App does not require account registration and is not based on identifying users by the Company.
- The App is not intended to send audio files selected by the User, generated master files, analysis results, or settings information to servers operated by the Company.
- The App does not collect data for advertising tracking, in-app behavior analytics, or third-party ad delivery by the Company.
Article 2. Information Handled Locally by the App
The App may handle the following information on the User's Mac to provide its functions. This information is not sent to servers operated by the Company.
- Audio files selected by the User.
- Technical information obtained through audio analysis, such as loudness, True Peak, peak, spectrum, length, sample rate, channel count, and related information.
- Mastered audio files generated by the App.
- Local settings information necessary for App operation, such as output destination, file name, app settings, purchase status, bookmarks, and recent items.
Article 3. Information the Company May Obtain
The Company may obtain information about Users only in the following cases.
- When a User sends an inquiry, support request, bug report, or feedback: name or display name, email address, inquiry details, attachments, usage environment, and information necessary to reproduce the issue.
- When a User purchases or restores Paid Features through the App Store: purchase status, transaction identifier, product identifier, purchase date, refund or cancellation status, and other information provided by Apple that is necessary to confirm purchase status. The Company does not obtain full payment information, credit card numbers, or Apple ID passwords.
- When required by law or with the User's consent: information necessary within the scope of such law or consent.
Article 4. Purposes of Use
The Company uses obtained information for the following purposes.
- To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Service.
- To confirm and restore purchase status for Paid Features, provide support, and prevent unauthorized use.
- To respond to inquiries, support requests, bug reports, and feedback.
- To provide important notices, changes to terms or policies, and security or legally required communications.
- To comply with laws, guidelines, and App Store review and operational requirements.
- To address disputes, violations, unauthorized use, rights infringement, and related issues.
Article 5. Third-Party Disclosure
The Company does not provide obtained personal information to third parties except in the following cases.
- When the User has consented.
- When required by law.
- When necessary to protect human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the User's consent.
- When especially necessary for public health improvement or sound child development and it is difficult to obtain the User's consent.
- When cooperation is necessary for a national or local government agency, or its contractor, to perform legally prescribed duties, and obtaining the User's consent may hinder performance of those duties.
- When handling of information is entrusted to a contractor within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In such case, the Company provides necessary and appropriate supervision.
Article 6. Handling by Apple and Third-Party Services
- Information regarding App Store purchases, refunds, purchase restoration, payments, receipts, Apple ID, and store accounts is handled according to Apple's terms and privacy policy.
- User Content or App settings may be stored, synchronized, or transmitted by third-party services used by the User, such as macOS, iCloud, Time Machine, external storage, crash report settings, security software, or backup services. These are outside the Company's control and are governed by the terms of each provider.
- If the Company introduces websites, inquiry forms, distribution infrastructure, crash reporting, analytics, or similar features in the future, the Company will update this Policy and provide appropriate notice or obtain consent as necessary.
Article 7. Security Management
- The Company implements reasonable security management measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, unauthorized access, and unauthorized use of obtained personal information.
- The App handles files within the scope of OS permission management, such as the macOS sandbox, access to user-selected files, and security-scoped bookmarks.
- Users are responsible for managing audio files, master files, save destinations, backups, and external sharing destinations.
Article 8. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Suspension, etc.
- Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of third-party provision of their personal information held by the Company in accordance with applicable laws.
- To make a request, contact the office specified in Article 12. The Company will verify identity and respond within a reasonable period in accordance with law.
- The Company cannot disclose, correct, delete, or otherwise handle information the Company does not hold, information by which the Company cannot identify the User, or information stored only on the User's Mac.
Article 9. Use by Minors
Minors must use the Service with the consent of a parent or other legal representative. Purchases of Paid Features must also comply with Apple's conditions for Apple ID, Family Sharing, and payment methods.
Article 10. Use from Outside Japan
The Service is provided by a business operator in Japan. Users who use the Service from outside Japan are responsible for confirming and complying with laws applicable to them. This Policy is prepared on the basis of Japanese law.
Article 11. Changes to this Policy
- The Company may change this Policy in response to legal amendments, changes to service content, or operational needs.
- When changing this Policy, the Company will notify Users of the changes, revised Policy, and effective date through the App, the Company's website, the App Store display, or other appropriate means.
- If a change requires User consent under law, the Company will obtain consent by an appropriate method.
